New Ford Fiesta is a premium mid-sized sedan that was launched in 2011. Although the old Fiesta is still selling in market as Ford Fiesta Classic, new one is seen as a completely different piece. The Ford Fiesta has got two engine options and both are 1.5 liter units. The petrol motor churns out 108 Bhp of power and 140 Nm of torque. The diesel unit belts out 90 Bhp of power and 204 Nm of torque. The diesel powerplant uses a fixed geometry turbo. Both the cars utilize a 5 speed manual gearbox. A new 6 speed dual clutch Powershift Automatic transmission has been added to the petrol variant of Ford Fiesta. The company claims that the new transmission in the car will make for better fuel efficiency of 16.95 kmpl-a feature indispensible in Indian cars. The automatic variant is stuffed with features like black leather upholstery, Hill-Launch Assist and Ford Grade-Assist functions along with rear parking sensors, cruise control, etc. The ride and handling are also near perfect. Kinetics governs the exteriors of the new Ford Fiesta. In order to make it more aerodynamic, Ford has worked extra to revamp almost all the external dimensions. The new looks are bold with round curves. Sweeping bold lines, sculpted, clamshell bonnet and prominent wheel arches drive its attractiveness. Looking at the exteriors, it is sure that Ford has entirely reworked the exteriors. The front is where Ford has put in brains well and it looks inspiring. Sharp edges have no place in the new Ford Fiesta and it makes the exteriors more compact. The front of the car is dominated by the large, twin chamber bright reflector Foxy eyes shaped headlamps with a dynamic elongated shape that attracts the attention of the onlooker. Besides, the body colors upper grille with the ‘Ford’ logo on it is lesser in height as compared to Fiesta Classic. The lower grille is with prominent black rows and it also houses space for the number plate. The new Fiesta Titanium and Titanium Plus also have two fog lamps housed on both the sides of the front bumper. The front bumper stretches to almost quarter of the wheel fenders on the sides. The door handles, mirrors and front bumpers-all are in body color. New Ford Fiesta is quite as appealing as its front is. As soon as one moves to the sides the curved aerodynamics steals the attention. The raised side rear view mirror fitted on the door also has turn indicators giving a class look to the car. The Fiesta has raised fenders that add to its power looks. Moving on to the rear of the car we have the tail lamps stretching from the sides. The tail lamps are bifurcated into two, the second part lies on the boot. The boot also has a ‘Ford’ Logo at the center with a boot projection above it. There are inbuilt stop reflectors low down on the rear bumper along with reverse sensors on the bumper. The roof endorse an antenna is the front giving the sedan its required aerodynamics.

Stepping inside the spectacular new Ford Fiesta which is a result of quality craftsmanship is none other than entering a spacious cockpit. Once you step inside there is no need to go manually, as the Titanium and Titanium Plus car will respond to your voice commands. From cruise control to climate control, the speech module controls it all. The multi-function LED display at the center of the dashboard displays complete information about your mobile calls, music and air conditioning. The side mirrors automatically fold when the car is parked. The space inside is quite comfortable for seating five people.
The seats inside the new Fiesta have more padding for the extra cushion making it more comfortable. The seats give supportive to the back, thighs and there are head rests. The driver seat can be adjusted. However, there is no height adjustment for the front passenger seat. The three spoke steering has multi functions built on it and is also height adjustable. On the left hand side of the steering are the audio controls and on the right side are cruise control buttons. With the Electric Power Assist Steering System (EPAS), the new Ford Fiesta is easy to maneuver in the city and on the highways. The EPAS activates only when there is a need and thus saves energy and fuel. The interiors personalization pack is available wherein customers can customize the interiors in plum red and oceanic blue.
Comfort
The instrument cluster has an aluminum finish and has two tunnels. Above them is a red colored 3.5 inch high resolution multi function display that has details about trip meter, odometer, distance to empty, average speed and efficiency etc. The mobile inspired central console has buttons for CD, Radio, AUX, Phone and button to go to the menu. There are four AC vents, one each for the driver and passenger and one on each side of the center console. The voice control is activated by a button on the left hand side of the steering. After it is activated, one needs to only speak commands such as climate control, change fan speeds, change climate control temperature, climate control modes, radio station change or change tracks on a CD or toggle between external media devices like iPod or USB or simply one can speak to the system to dial a phone number from the phone book of a mobile that’s paired to the car.
The gear shift lever has an aluminum touch and has five forward and one reverse gear on it. The gear knob is highlighted so that it is easily visible. The rear seats are also comfortable and have much padding and back rest along with height adjustable head rests. There is also a foldable armrest in the middle for the rear passengers. The headroom, legroom and shoulder room at the front and rear are quite large for a comfortable seating. Ford has put in good quality materials inside the New Fiesta and the room on the inside is quite large.
